Nama Tama, the egg-shaped mascot, was the first introduced to the game show and has the most variations. The name "Nama Tama" combines the Japanese words "nakama" (friend) and "tama" (egg). While there are several Nama Tamas, only one has been encountered so far.

Nama Tamas speak a high-pitched language called Namatish, or "Egglish," due to their egg-shaped nature. This language uses elevated pitch levels for expression, emotion, and grammatical nuances, conveying excitement or urgency. The language varies across cultures, with prosody elements like rhythm and intonation influencing its overall impression.
