Clubs
More actions

Clubs are a clan system introduced with the launch of Season 5 which enable users to more easily find, party up, and socialize with others. With a variety of tags, such as language, region, and playstyle, users can filter their preferences to find or create a Club of similar users to interact with. Owners can assign roles to members, giving them more permissions and control over the Club.
Features
- Club chat room with persistent messages
- This feature is currently only available to PC users[1]
- Club members can chat from the Club's main menu or switching to the Club chat channel in the lobby
- Messages sent to the Club chat can still be seen by all members even if a user was not logged in or not a member when the message was sent
- Clan tag next to members' usernames
- Members List
- The list shows online status, Club role, member rank, and platform of all members
- The list can be filtered to all members, friends, and admins
- Team-Up Requests
- Club members can post an open invitation to their party, advertising which game mode they would like to play, which any Club member may accept to join the host's party
- Requests last for 15 minutes or until the host queues the party, immediately expiring the request
- User progression system
- Daily contracts
- Each day 10 contracts are put into the Contracts Pool, 2 of which may be accepted to be completed per day
- Contracts reward 1,500 XP each
- Completing contracts progresses the user's rank in the club
- Club bonus to XP & Fans for playing with fellow club members
- 7.5% bonus when playing in a party of 2 with a club member
- 10% bonus when playing in a party of 3 or more with club members
- This XP bonus stacks with others (such as the party bonus)[2]
Creating a Club
Before creating a club, users must play at least 20 matches[3]. Once a user has completed the requirement, they must create a unique Club name and tag. After creating the Club, owners can customize their Club name, emblem, clan tag, language, region, club focus, competitive rank, game mode, & playstyle preferences, and Club privacy.

Club Roles
Club roles, controlled by the Owner, give members access to some administrator abilities.
Owner
Manages invites & members, and configures the Club. There can only be one Owner of a Club at any time.
Manager
Assists the Owner in inviting, handling requests, and managing lower-tier roles.
Scout
Helps recruit members by sending invites to users.
Ownership Transfer
If the Owner of a Club leaves for any reason, ownership goes to the next highest ranking admin. If the Owner leaves, the Manager becomes the new Owner, or the Scout if there is no Manager.
Joining a Club
Public & Request Only Clubs
Public and Request Only Clubs can be found by using the Club browser function, so long as they have enough capacity for new users to join. Clubs which reach the 100 member limit will not show up on the Club browser until their member count drops below 100. Public clubs can be joined immediately without a request. Request Only Clubs require a new user to submit a request to join, which the Owner, Manager, or Scout of the Club may accept or deny.
Private Clubs
Private Clubs cannot be found in the Club browser and require a direct invite from the Owner, Manager, or Scout. Club invites will show up on the recipient's screen as a notification, like a party invite or friend request, and appear in their inbox.
Member Ranks

Once a user joins a Club, they have access to Club contracts. Completing daily contracts from the Contracts Pool progresses members' ranks in the Club. Progression is not based on XP but instead the number of contracts completed. Club rank progresses as such:
- Rookie: 0 - 30 contracts completed
- Contender: 30 - 50 contracts completed
- Pro: Over 50 contracts completed
If users do their 2 daily contracts each day, they can reach Contender in 15 days and Pro in 25. Ranks do not transfer between Clubs[4]. Users leaving a club to join another will have to restart their rank progress in any Club they join, even if they re-join a Club they used to be a member of. Besides bragging rights and the XP received for completing contracts, increasing rank in a Club has no benefits or rewards.
