Short description | Hold the platform |
Features | Unlimited respawn credits |
Power Shift is a casual 5v5 game mode where two teams compete to escort a platform through the arena.
Rules
- The platform will start moving shortly after a contestant stands on it.
- If interrupted by an enemy team, the platform grinds to a halt — or will switch direction entirely.
- The platform speed is determined by how many contestants from one team are on it; maximum speed is reached at 3 contestants.
- The platform will tear through anything in its path and can be rocked by physics.
- Players can switch their contestants and loadout between respawns.
- The game ends when one team escorts the platform to their goal, or when the timer expires.
- If time expires when the platform is being contested, the game will enter a 5 minutes overtime.
- Overtime ends when the team who is escorting the platform has escorted it further than the opposing team, and the platform is not being contested.
- If none of these conditions are met because the platform has never been controlled by either teams, overtime will run out and a random team will be declared the victor.

Trivia
- Some Game Events that are ongoing when overtime starts will last the entire duration of the overtime. For example, Retro Invasion aliens will loop back around multiple times until the match ends.
- Any goo that is attached to the platform will slow it down.
- The platform's lights take the color of the team currently controlling it.
