R.O.B. (Republica Orbital Brasileira^[1]) is mentioned on number of cosmetic items added with Season 8. Considering the name and related items it is theorized that in The Finals Lore Brazil as a country have been repositioned or expanded to space.

R.O.B. Flag resembles real flag of Brazil with similar patterns and colours, but has multiple notable changes:

Blue disc of starry sky have been replaced by simplified graticule surrounded by 28 five-pointed stars.
Instead of a curved band indcribed with national motto - Ordem e Progresso^[2], there is a straight line through the middle inscribed with Republica Orbital Brasileira.

R.O.B. insignia is a green triangle with three doble pairs of yellow lines that are curving around blue disc with the same graticule surrounded by 28 five-pointed stars that is present on the flag, but without a white band crossing it.

Story

While there's no definitive narrative that involves R.O.B., there're two certain facts about the country in The Finals Lore:

Presence of 28th star on R.O.B. national symbols, according to Brazilian Law^[3], implies that Brazil updated it's flag to represent new Brazilian state, as the original Flag of Brazil has 27 stars, each representing a Brazilian Federal Unit.
Federative Republic of Brazil was renamed to Orbital Republic of Brazil.

Both of these facts imply that Brazil as a country is no longer limited to Earth or left it entirely. In turn there's several theories based on the provided information.

Brazil as a country is in the possession of some form of territory that is orbiting the planet, most likely on the moon, that they declared as 28th state.
Brazil as a country is no longer present on the planet and consists of 28 orbital bodies, each being its own state.
- This theory is supported by depiction of the flag and heraldry, where stars (Federal Units) surround the graticule (Planet).
