Recruit & Rise is a referral program introduced in Season 7 that is aimed help new players get quicker acquainted with game by grouping up with experienced contestants. Veteran players (Recruiters) are able to invite newcomers (Prospects) to team up and play together and get rewards.
This referral program is separate from the “Refer a Friend” program on Embark Studios Official Website, so both can be used simultaneously.
To invite a Prospect, the Recruiter needs to add them as a friend in-game. Friends from other platforms such as Steam or Epic Games won’t be visible in the list of available recruits until they’re added as friends via Embark ID.
Overview
- Both Recruiter and Prospect have to complete 10 matches together to fulfill their program.
- Match progress counts only as long as both the Recruiter and Prospect were present when the match ended.
- The Recruiter and Prospect must be friends to send or accept Recruit and Rise requests.
Recruiter Path
- To become eligible to be a Recruiter contestant need to play at least 20 matches in any gamemode (except for private matches).
- Recruiter can only have up to 5 friends as active prospects at a time.
- Recruiter gets 1 point per Prospect per match towards the progression, up to 4 points per match.
- After playing 10 matches with the Prospect they become Arena Certified and Recruiter gets progress towards their badge.

Prospect Path
- Any player with less than 20 matches is eligible to be recruited.
- To get a reward Prospect must play 10 matches with their Recruit.
- If contestant got invited by a Recruiter but reached a total of 20 matches before playing 10 matches with the Recruiter they are no longer considered a Prospect and removed from the program.
- Prospect can only accept one Recruit request.
- If the Prospect finished the path and then starts a Recruiter Path their reward progress will start from the second reward, but it won't affect their badge progress.
