Easter eggs found externally, such as in various trailers and promotional material for THE FINALS or across websites controlled by Embark Studios.

Websites

The following website Easter eggs are only those not specific to THE FINALS Easter Egg Hunt.

Leek Charms

Three hidden leek charms were released in November 2025 through a series of community puzzles. The charms were discovered by players working together to decode Morse code, hidden webpages, encrypted messages, and audio files.

Icon Name Rarity Type Description

Leek Denied

During a community stream on November 13, 2025, Embark Community Lead Oscar leaked a code to the first of three obtainable leek charms, briefly flashing the code on screen.

Sneak Leek

During another community stream on November 20, Oscar went to the page of The Grand Major 2025 twice. At the prize money section, he talked about leeks and suspiciously looked into the camera.

In the second clip, people noticed he was pointing his mouse ever so slightly to a hidden blinking Nama Tama gif on the page. Easter egg hunters soon discovered the blinking to be a hidden message in morse code:

-..-. ... .-- . . - -....- ... . -.-. .-. . - ... -....- ..- -. -.. . .-. -....- .--. .-. . ... ... ..- .-. .

The morse decodes into: /sweet-secrets-under-pressure and led hunters to the password protected webpage reachthefinals.com/sweet-secrets-under-pressure. The Roman Nama Tama gif gave the first clue that the password was encrypted using a Ceasar cipher, and the number 3 was hidden on the helmet, a clue to use a shift of 3. Applying this to the file name (a0ibzqxjbkqrjm7oorj) gave the hunters the password: d3lectamentump0rrum. It is also possible to infer the Latin words delectamentum purrum, which translate to "delicious leek".

The new page featured an image of Nama Tama with a magnifying glass, hinting at "look closely". Using some image manipulation tools, hunters found the hidden text +5n34k 5n34k+ in the bottom corners of the image (the mirrored word "Sneak" in leetspeak).

Mirroring was an important clue and led hunters to mirror the file name +wDP80CIhAHO4EHIq1Wego2dm1GegwHI1YGa5UTamRTazEzMtgDandWLqdGa50yN1omNtkjZ4sWMnBTM, which could then be decoded from Base64 to 10g1k8f9-6j57-9hgj-ggh8-313i4fi59hf5 | xmfwj ymj q88p! -<<<>.

In the previously mentioned Clip 2, Oscar talks about 5 litres of leek soup, or 55kg of leek, suggesting the importance of the number 5. Applying another Ceasar shift of -5 to the new text produces 65b6f3a4-1e02-4cbe-bbc3-868d9ad04ca0 | share the l88k! -<<<>. The first part was the code for the Sneak Leek Charm, and the second part told hunters to "share the leek!" with an ASCII interpretation of a leek.

Leek of the Land

The following day, a hunter visited the page again and noticed the blinking Roman Nama Tama gif was now clickable, and led to an audio file. The name of the file was 119104101114101329710932105.mp3 which translates to ASCII Decimal Code: Where am I.

119 104 101 114 101 32 97 109 32 105
W H E R E space A M space I

The audio file contained more morse code:

-.... -.-. -.... ..... --... ....- ..--- ----- -.... -.. -.... ..... ..--- ----- -.... ...-- -.... ---.. -.... ..... -.... ...-- -.... -... ..--- ----- -.... -.. --... ----. ..--- ----- -.... -.. -.... .---- --... ----- ..--- . ..--- . ..--- . ..--- ----- --... -.-. ..--- ----- ...-- ----- -.... ...-- ...-- ---.. ...-- ..--- ...-- ----. -.... -.... ...-- ....- ...-- --... ..--- -.. ...-- ---.. ...-- ----- -.... -.... -.... ....- ..--- -.. ...-- ....- ...-- ....- ...-- ..... ...-- ..--- ..--- -.. ...-- ---.. ...-- ----. ...-- ..--- ...-- ---.. ..--- -.. ...-- --... ...-- ---.. ...-- ...-- ...-- --... ...-- .---- ...-- ----. ...-- --... ...-- ...-- ...-- ..... -.... ...-- -.... -.... -.... -....

Decoding this gave:

6C6574206D6520636865636B206D79206D61702E2E2E207C2030633832396634372D383066642D343435322D383932382D373833373139373335636666

Which is Hexadecimal for:

Trailers and Media

First Teaser Trailer

  • About one second into the short seven-second first teaser for THE FINALS, a Vespa-style motorbike is seen from behind with Monaco plates that read "0074". Seemingly, a reference to a James Bond-style chase scene.

Announcement Trailer

  • In the opening action-shots of the teaser (five seconds in), a barely-discernable inflatable flamingo is seen being thrown through the air amongst building debris that has been hit by a wrecking ball. The inflatable flamingo is a likely reference to flamingos shown in the ARC Raiders reveal trailer, as ARC Raiders was originally planned to release first.
  • Two images are hidden in the trailer, each can be revealed by stitching together two of the four hidden frames dispersed throughout. They are presented with inverted colors and can be corrected for proper viewing. The image featuring jellyfish could be interpreted as a reference to the James Bond movie Skyfall, since it features a similar-looking scene.

Closed Alpha Trailer

  • Certain frames of the trailer contained fragments of a picture. Upon piecing these five fragments together, a view of Seoul was revealed, which had yet to be announced at the time this trailer was released.
  • A contestant's shirt has Robert Sammelin's signature skull printed on it. Robert Sammelin is Embark's Art Director and a well-known and respected artist in the gaming industry.

Closed Beta 1 Trailer

  • Certain frames of the trailer contained fragments of a picture. Upon piecing these four fragments together, an image of Nama Tama wearing glasses in a desert was revealed. The general consensus amongst the community's Easter Egg Hunters, was that this image was a reference to the sunglasses worn by Johnny Depp's character, Raoul Duke, and the Nevada location for the 1998 film Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas, and, therefore, the image was a hint to the Las Vegas 2032 map, which was announced at the game's launch.

Closed Beta 2 Trailer

  • A CCTV-style interruption occurs, and the following text appears on screen:
    GOOD EVENING !
THIS BROADCAST HAS BEEN HACKED BY CNS
[ SEEK THE TRUTH BEYOND THE WALLS !]

Open Beta Trailer

  • Certain frames of the trailer contained fragments of a picture. Upon piecing these six fragments together, a scene was revealed. It appears to be a first-person view of a contestant in a gunfight. The weapon the contestant is holding seems to be the Model 1887 equipped with the Dough Wrangler skin. The community later realized that this was a teaser for the Las Vegas map, showing a gunfight in the Casino Eastwood building.

Season 1 Trailer

  • During the trailer, a similar interruption occurs to the first CNS message, and the following text appears:
    GOOD EVENING !
THIS BROADCAST HAS BEEN HACKED BY CNS
[ ONE NIGHT, THREE DAWNS. SEE THE SIGNS ]
  • Nama Tama makes an appearance on the face of a Jack of Clubs card, wearing a black knight's helmet and wielding an axe. Nama Tama was later depicted wearing the same armor in "THE_FINALS_I_Want_to", the first image of Level 3 of THE FINALS Easter Egg Hunt.

Season 2 Trailer

  • In the section of the trailer when the broadcast begins to get hacked, a stream of text quickly scrolls past the screen. The full text can be viewed here: File:S2 trailer text.txt.
