Kyoto 1568 was introduced with Season 3 and was the sixth arena to be added. It is based on the real-life city of Kyoto during the historic feudal period of Japan. The arena is set on a steep mountainside in the lush Kyoto Valley and features a network of 16th-century temples, gardens and dense bamboo forests.
Kyoto changes with each real-life season. During Fall, the leaves on trees in the arena become orange and golden brown. During Winter, the environment is covered in snow and the lakes freeze over. During Spring, cherry trees bloom.
