Vaults are stationary arena objects that spawns at any arena's predetermined locations. They serve as the main source of objectives in Cashout Gamemodes. When unlocked by contestants, a Vault ejects its contents and then disappears granting $1,000.
Overview
Once opened, a Vault ejects a single Cash Box, which can then be transported to a Cashout Station to initiate a cashout. Vaults themselves cannot be reused and will vanish after they eject their contents.
Spawning

The number of Vaults that spawn varies based on the Gamemode being played.
| Mode | Starting Vaults | Maximum Vaults |
|---|---|---|
| Head2Head Final round of Cashout and Ranked Cashout |
1 | 3 |
| Quick Cash | 1 | 4 |
| Knockout rounds of Cashout and Ranked Cashout | 2 | 6 |
The specified number of Vaults always spawn at the start of the round. Additional Vaults spawn each time a Cashout Station successfully completes a cashout, up to the listed maximum.
Unlocking
After spawning, Vaults remain locked for 15 seconds before they can be opened. Once the lockout expires, contestants can interact with the Vault to begin its unlocking sequence.
| Controls | PC | PS | XBox | Key |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Open | E | Interact |
Opening a Vault takes 20 seconds, during which the Vault displays a visible progress indicator. Upon completion, the Vault ejects its Cash Box and is removed from play.
Indicators
Each Vault displays an on-screen indicator that marks its location within the arena.
Vault indicators include a numerical index reflecting the order in which they spawn during the round. This index increments with each new Vault and is used to track objective progression.
The Vault indicator updates to reflect their current state, such as spawning, ready to be opened, or actively being opened by a team. Contestants can place Pings directly on a Vault indicator to mark its location for their team.
