Blast Off: Sour Core was an event during Season 8 tied to the launch of PXL Ospuze Sour Core Energy Drink. It reintroduced the Blast Off! LTM under a OSPUZE theme, along with new Contracts and free rewards. Playing the game mode awarded players with Quickplay Points.

The launch of this event coincided with the end-of-season XP boost period, giving players a 200% XP boost for completing Daily Contracts and 150% XP & FANS earned for gameplay until the end of the season.

A Twitch Drops Campaign with the same name was available until November 28, 2025.

The event had an extended duration to complement the run-up to TGM25, starting on November 13, 2025 and ending alongside the season on December 10.

Blast Off: Sour Core was a 3v3 version of Team Deathmatch. Contestants were equipped with a fixed loadout featuring themed OSPUZE skins and outfits.
