The Grand Major 2025 is the first official esports event of THE FINALS, organised by Embark Studios in partnership with DreamHack and ESL FACEIT Group. It features a total prize pool of $100,000 and is open to the NA, EMEA, and APAC regions.

The first official announcement of The Grand Major was made during the One‑Year Anniversary event of THE FINALS. The open qualifiers began on August 30, 2025, followed by broadcast of closed qualifiers from September 20–21, 2025. The top 16 teams went to play at the LAN major at DreamHack Stockholm on November 28–29, 2025.

In preparation for the The Grand Major all 16 qualified teams got unique Cosmetic Bundles, featuring in-game Sponsors. Teams received a cut from sales of their bundles. In-game cosmetics related to The Grand Major 25 also included TGM 25 PASS, and multiple TGM25 Bundles. Visitors of the DreamHack Stockholm could receive 3 exclusive weapon skins and online viewers could get 5 rewards from the Twitch Drops Campaign. Additionally, after victory of NTMR, a bundle to memorise their victory was released.

During Day 2 of the tournament majority of the Season 9 content got revealed, as well as The Grand Major 2026 have been announced.
A day before the event developers held The Grand Major 2025 Mingle, where visitors could meet tournament participants and developers.
PULSAR launched TGM25 and THE FINALS themed mice and mousepads right before the tournament. All the items come with codes for related in-game cosmetics. [9]
- PULSAR also held giveaway for a mouse themed after THE FINALS. [10]
Cosplayers at the event could participate in a raffle for a chance to a win a prize. [11]
Easter Egg Hunters found multiple Easter Eggs on the Official TGM25 Website
- Website held a clue in a form of a GIF to one of the Easter Eggs that lead to discovery of a gift code for SNEAK LEEK charm. [12]
- Later the GIF have been replaced for an audio file that lead to discovery of a gift code for LEEK OF THE LAND charm that turned out to be a teaser for the future map - Fangwai City. [13]
