Interactable Buttons, or simply - buttons, are arena objects placed around the arena grounds. They affect the arena environment after activation, such as raising or lowering bridges, barricades and open-air elevator platforms.
Overview
Interactable buttons are always present in the same specific spots on most arenas. When the button is interacted with, it goes on cooldown for 1 second, during which it can't be used.

Other Activation Methods
Contestants can activate buttons in numerous other ways other than interacting with them directly. Any damage that can hit the button directly (like Quick Melee, gun shots, and melee weapon hits) or an explosion will activate it.
Arena Carriables
Buttons can be activated by throwing Arena Carriables only if their initial point of contact is the button. Some carriables can also trigger buttons with their explosion damage. Notable exceptions are listed below.

Equipment
Some Gadgets and Specializations activate the interactable buttons either by direct impact or their explosions. Equipment that doesn't have the ability to deal damage in either of these ways will not activate any buttons.

Strengths
- The activation state of certain bridges and barricades can help ensuring the other contestants have a harder time reaching and claiming cashboxes
- The activation state of certain barricades can help ensuring the survival of contestants due to making an unbreakable wall between two contestants
Tactics
- Utilising the Oil Barrel thrown contestants can create a 5 second delayed reactivation of the button
- Utilising the C4 or Breach Charge if placed upon the button or close to it contestants can allow for the activation of the button at any moment they please which can help regaining entrance to a Cashout Station like in the Operations Center in NOZOMI CITADEL
