Sponsorships

Sponsorships are a Progression system introduced in Season 4. Each season, contestants can choose a seasonal Sponsor to sign with. By competing in the arena and fulfilling Contracts, contestants earn fans and unlock exclusive rewards associated with their chosen sponsor. Once signed, a contestant cannot change their sponsor until the next season.

Every season offers a limited selection of sponsors, each with a new 'track' of 20 rewards. Sponsors can also return with additional tracks, known as loyalty tiers. Only contestants who have stayed loyal and previously signed with the same sponsor can earn their latest rewards, as contestants must always begin their journey with any particular sponsor at loyalty tier 1 (the first track).

Contestants who previously signed with a sponsor but didn't complete their track can pick up where they left if the sponsor returns and they sign with them again, with 40% fewer fans required to complete that previous track before moving on to the next one. Earned fans will still count towards sponsor progression even if you haven’t chosen a sponsor yet.

Fans are required to progress the sponsorship progression track. Like XP, they are earned over time through gameplay, although the details of correlation between player actions and the number earned are still unknown.

Starting in Season 9, all sponsors can be signed with, and sponsorships can be changed at any time. However, only seasonal sponsors will gain new loyalty tiers in a season.
