The Anti-Gravity Cube is a Heavy class thrown gadget that creates a cylindrical area in which contestants and other objects start levitating.
Usage
The Anti-Gravity Cube can be selected as one of three gadgets of any Heavy build loadout.
Holding the primary trigger will prepare a high-velocity overhand throw. Holding the secondary trigger will prepare a low-velocity underhand throw. While preparing a throw, the gadget's trajectory is indicated up to the point where it triggers on impact. Releasing the trigger will execute the throw, whereas swapping to a different item will cancel it.

Effects
The Anti-Gravity Cube can be thrown, and when it hits the ground, it creates a large cylindrical area (8 meters in diameter and 12 meters tall) that rises upwards from the gadget. This area moves along with the cube and can pass through surfaces.
Contestants and objects inside this area will levitate and slowly rise upwards until they reach the maximum height of the gadget's range. Even the Cashout Station can be lifted and moved by this effect.

Guide
Strengths
- The Anti-Gravity Cube can lift the Cashout Station, making it easier to defend - or in some situations, easier to steal.
- The Anti-Gravity Cube can slow down players that enter it's radius without significant momentum and make them easy-to-hit, floating targets.
- The Anti-Gravity Cube's effect area can pass and affect targets through surfaces above the cube in range.
- The Anti-Gravity Cube's effect area, although being a slow ascend, can help contestants reach elevated places.
Weaknesses
- The Anti-Gravity Cube does not have shielding, destructive or damaging properties compared to the majority of the Heavy archetype's other options.
- The Strength of being able to make enemies easy-to-hit, floating targets can also apply to the contestant using it and their teammates themselves, should they misplace it.
- The Anti-Gravity Cube only has 150 HP and so can be very quickly destroyed with majority of Weapons. It can also be reshaped by the Data Reshaper and destroyed by an APS Turret.
- With the radius being only 4 meters wide, the active area is not particularly big, making inaccurate throws combined with the 28s cooldown quite punishing.
Tactics
- During offense, the Anti-Gravity Cube can lift a Cashout Station that is being defended by an enemy team from above which allows the contestant's team to maintain the height advantage, rather than having to push into the area from the same height or below it.
- C4, the RPG-7, Explosive Canisters and especially the KS-23 with it's ability to damage and destroy the enviroment by simply shooting are great to utilise with the cube in order to create openings above the Cashout Station, should it be in an enclosed area.
- During defense preparation, the Anti-Gravity Cube can be used to lift the Cashout Station prematurely to put it into advantegous positions. For instance, together with Goo from a Goo Barrel, Goo Grenade or Goo Gun, it can be fixated at the ceiling of a room, preventing common tactics of safely dropping the station from a floor below. With enough Goo, the Station could be fully encased in this elevated positon, making it even more difficult to reach quickly.
- During active defense, the Anti-Gravity Cube can be used to great extent to stall steals.
- While an enemy contestant could continue stealing the Cashout Station while they're both being lifted, they will be in an even more helpless position as they won't be able to escape easily while continuously floating.
- Depending on the positions, the Cashout Station could continue to float up while the enemy contestant stealing gets stopped by parts of the ceiling and vice versa, breaking line of sight and stopping a steal.
- The Anti-Gravity Cube can be destroyed on purpose to make floating players and the cashout fall unexpectedly, potentially making the stealing contestant cancel their interaction.
- When in an open area or with enough space, the Anti-Gravity Cube can be thrown behind enemy Barricades and walls of Goo, lifting enemy contestants in range out of their defenses, forcing them to be slow and exposed or reposition.
- The effect area of the Anti-Gravity Cube can trap players in the ceilings of rooms if theyre caught on map geometry or other objects, forcing them to destroy the cube to get down or make use of certain Specializations or Gadgets.
- This can be utilised when being chased and is particularly effective against enemies with melee weapons. The contestant can throw the cube behind them in hallways or other enclosed areas with tight access like doorframes, windows and vents. This also applies to jumping from elevated areas and into holes. Since the enemy will be lifted up, they will likely have trouble following as they'll continuously be lifted trying to enter. Enemies with melee weapons will additionally not be able to shoot and destroy the cube without the help of their teammates or certain Specializations or Gadgets.
- The Anti-Gravity Cube affects not only player movement and momentum, but also that of placeable or throwable Gadgets. For instance, throwing a C4 through an active Anti-Gravity Cube's area will make it fly slightly further than usual.
- It also affects Revive Statues, which can stall an enemy revive. Alternatively, a Revive Statue can be used as a sort of "carrier" for placeable Gadgets, particularly the C4, to make it float to an elevated position before detonating it.
Item Mastery
Item mastery XP for the Anti-Gravity Cube can be earned by deploying it and utilizing it. xp is only awarded once per contestant, per life.
Each time a certain XP threshold is reached, the item levels up. This does not improve the item, but rewards a unique item customization.
