Head2Head was an end-of-season sponsor showdown between CNS and VAIIYA presented as an in-game Event during Season 7. It introduced a new Limited Time Game Mode and Contracts with free rewards. Every match played by a contestant scored championship points for the sponsor that contestant signed with. The sponsor with the most points at the end of the season handed out Extra reward for all contestants.
During the event, contestants would earn 200% XP for Daily Contracts, and up to 150% XP and Fans for gameplay. Additionally, a Twitch Drops campaign of the same name launched alongside the event.
Event started on August 14, 2025 and ended on September 10, 2025 with the victory of CNS.
Head-2-Head was a 3v3 game mode that was almost identical to the Head2Head mode currently available in the game. It was meant to be a more casual version of the Cashout Tournament final round. During the event, the game mode had an exclusive Game Show Event - Nedstrike. Playing the game mode awarded players with Quickplay Points.
Contestants were given 10 contracts to complete, each giving a reward upon completion. Contracts were split into two stages, each themed around either CNS or VAIIYA. Contestants could get all 10 rewards, no matter what sponsor they chose.
